Dobbins<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He didn\u2019t impress in his 1<sup>st<\/sup> period with the team when Kansas City picked him in the 1<sup>st<\/sup> round 4 years ago. Edwards-Helaire made it through a full campaign in the past year after injuries plagued his 1<sup>st<\/sup> 3 years but did so as a reserve behind Pacheco, who became the starter in 2022 campaign.<\/p>\n<p>He finished last campaign with 223 yards as Kansas City won Super Bowl LVIII in OT vs. the 49ers.<\/p>\n<p>Clyde led the organization in rushing as a rookie with 803 yards but late-campaign problems make his play in the postseason worse and Kansas City lost that year at the Super Bowl to Buccaneers led by <a href=\"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/nfl\/player\/tom-brady\/\">Tom Brady<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kansas City Chiefs agreed to re-ink RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire to a 1-year contract.
