Barcelona has been hit with a fine for racist behavior and other misconduct by their fans during their Champions League quarter-final first leg match against Paris St-Germain.<\/p>\n
Aside from the racism, UEFA also charged Barcelona for their supporters’ actions of lighting fireworks and causing damage at the Parc des Princes.<\/p>\n
The Spanish club is required to pay a fine of 32,000 euros. Despite winning 3-2 in Paris, Barcelona suffered a 4-1 defeat in Tuesday’s reverse fixture at home, leading to their exit from the Champions League.<\/p>\n
In addition to the fine, Barcelona has been sanctioned with a ban on selling away tickets to their supporters for their next UEFA competition match due to the racist behavior. However, the ban is suspended for a probationary period of one year.<\/p>\n
