The Maple Leafs GM Brad Treliving said that Toronto wants a fresh voice who could help the organization reach its full potential.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In this game over a period of time, the message stops working,&#8221; shared Toronto\u2019s general manager about Keefe\u2019s firing.<\/p>\n<p>This will be Craig\u2019s 3<sup>rd<\/sup> National Hockey League managerial job. Berube was previously at the helm of the Flyers \u00a0from 2013-15, guiding Philadelphia to the playoffs in 2014 before being dismissed after a disappointing 6<sup>th<\/sup> place finish in the Metropolitan Division in the next campaign.<\/p>\n<p>After that, he became the St. Louis Blues&#8217; AHL\u2019s Chicago Wolves from 2016-17. At the end of the campaign, St. Louis promoted Craig to be an assistant manager under Mike Yeo.
