{"id":483521,"date":"2024-05-26T04:05:10","date_gmt":"2024-05-26T08:05:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=483521"},"modified":"2024-05-26T04:05:10","modified_gmt":"2024-05-26T08:05:10","slug":"chiefs-butker-i-dont-regret-sharing-my-beliefs","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/news\/chiefs-butker-i-dont-regret-sharing-my-beliefs\/","title":{"rendered":"Chiefs\u2019 Butker: \u2018I don\u2019t regret sharing my beliefs\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kansas City Chiefs player Harrison Butker revealed he has no regrets about expressing his beliefs several days ago and added that he has received support as well as &#8220;a shocking level of hate&#8221; from people.<\/p>\n<p>The kicker spoke at the end of the past week at Regina Caeli Academy&#8217;s Courage Under Fire gala in Nashville, Tennessee.<\/p>\n<p>Butker spoke publicly for the 1<sup>st<\/sup> time since his speech at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, where he claimed most women graduating were probably more excited about being wives and having children, sharing that Catholic leaders were &#8220;pushing threatening gender ideologies onto the young people in the USA&#8221; and more.<\/p>\n<p>Harrison, a 3-time Super Bowl winner, shared he understands being criticized for how he play but that his religion is more important than the game.
