Both absences are unexcused, as that means that the Jets can fine them.<\/p>\n<p>The edge rusher&#8217;s absence is not a surprise, as he is in a deal dispute with the team. Aaron, took the required physical and was part of the Jets\u2019 media day, both yesterday, before leaving.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Rodgers and I spoke before OTAs began,&#8221; manager Robert Saleh revealed. &#8220;Our quarterback is very good in communication. Rodgers has been here the entire time. It&#8217;s unexcused, but he had an event that was very crucial for him, which he shared with us.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Aaron has been a regular at voluntary workouts for the last 2 offseasons, showing the importance of building chemistry with his teammates, which leaves more questions than answers as to why he is not there.<\/p>\n<p>The Jets head coach downplayed the quarterback absence, claiming that the team knew that he will miss the minicamp.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Jets?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#Jets<\/a> QB Aaron Rodgers and OLB Haason Reddick are not at mandatory minicamp, per HC Robert Saleh.
