{"id":484480,"date":"2024-06-22T09:17:03","date_gmt":"2024-06-22T13:17:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=484480"},"modified":"2024-06-22T09:17:25","modified_gmt":"2024-06-22T13:17:25","slug":"fire-breaks-out-in-mclaren-hospitality-center","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/news\/fire-breaks-out-in-mclaren-hospitality-center\/","title":{"rendered":"Fire breaks out in McLaren hospitality center"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>McLaren&#8217;s Formula 1 hospitality center at the Circuit de Catalunya has been evacuated after a fire broke out in the morning.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">McLaren have confirmed no team members were injured in the fire that broke out at their hospitality area ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix.<\/p>\n<p>Two fire personnel have been taken away to be treated for smoke inhalation, but their condition is not thought to be serious. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/aPRqJ2R23k\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/aPRqJ2R23k<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Sky Sports News (@SkySportsNews) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SkySportsNews\/status\/1804462433232122322?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">June 22, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The fire, which begins moments before the final practice session of the week started, was quickly seen to by a fire crew at the circuit.<\/p>\n<p>Mario Isola, chief of Formula One tyre supplier Pirelli and a volunteer fireman in Italy, also ran to help.<\/p>\n<p>The F1 team announced: &#8220;Saturday morning we evacuated our Team Hub paddock hospitality unit after a fire alert, all people have been safely evacuated while the local fire brigade handled the situation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The rumors are that electrical fire between 2 floors of the building despite nothing is official yet.<\/p>\n<p>The final practice session underwent without a problem as the team\u2019s pilots Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, who were evacuated from the hospitality center, drove in the session.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>McLaren&#8217;s Formula 1 hospitality center at the Circuit de Catalunya has been evacuated after a fire broke out in the morning.
