Christian Horner disagrees that “hard racer” Max Verstappen deserved punishment for his collision with Lando Norris at the Austrian GP.<\/p>\n
Max and Lando collided while fighting for 1st place, and as a result, both cars were left damaged.<\/p>\n
The stewards found the Dutch “predominantly” to blame and issued him a 10-second time punishment.<\/p>\n
“For me, Verstappen is a hard racer, and everybody in Formula 1 understands that,” Christian claimed before pointing out the fight between Max and Lando at the beginning of Saturday’s sprint race.<\/p>\n
“I believe Norris was trying to make up for Saturday. The tension was visible and escalated in the last couple of races. I knew there was going to be something dangerous between the 2 of them.”<\/p>\n
