{"id":485036,"date":"2024-07-07T20:07:06","date_gmt":"2024-07-08T00:07:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=485036"},"modified":"2024-07-07T20:07:06","modified_gmt":"2024-07-08T00:07:06","slug":"hamilton-feared-hed-never-triumph-in-f1-race-again","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/news\/hamilton-feared-hed-never-triumph-in-f1-race-again\/","title":{"rendered":"Hamilton feared he&#8217;d never triumph in F1 race again"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lewis Hamilton claimed the emotions poured out of him after the British GP because he had questioned himself if he would ever win a Formula 1 race again.<\/p>\n<p>Lewis\u2019 record-extending 104th career victories, his 9th at the British Grand Prix, was the 1st since the 2021 Saudi Arabian GP in December of that year.<\/p>\n<p>The British pilot triumphed in his final race on home soil before changing his team next year and driving for Ferrari from 2025.<\/p>\n<p>After the final, the Formula One feed played a radio message from Lewis as his voice cracked with emotion.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I must admit, I can&#8217;t stop crying,&#8221; the happy pilot shared. &#8220;It&#8217;s been since 2021, I just daily, getting up, trying to fight, to train, to put my mind to the task, and do everything possible with Mercedes to get back to the victories.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Lewis added that he even doubted that he would ever finish 1<sup>st<\/sup> again in Formula 1.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">&quot;There&#39;s definitely been moments when I thought that this was it, [a win] was never gonna happen again.
