However, the All-Star player revealed on his podcast that he was willing to sign with Los Angeles for a 3-year, 150 million dollar extension they gave Kawhi Leonard but with a no-trade clause in it. The guard added that the franchise wouldn&#8217;t do that or give him a 4-year, 212 million dollar deal if they didn&#8217;t attach a no-trade clause.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I never wanted to leave Clippers,&#8221; Paul shared about his preference. &#8220;Los Angeles is home; this is where I wanted to be until the end of my career, and I wanted to try as hard as possible to win a championship with the team.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Paul added that they 1st offered him a 2-year, 60 million dollar deal, and he said that he would not ink that.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Paul George confirmed on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PodcastPShow?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@PodcastPShow<\/a> the Warriors were his preferred destination, but a sign-and-trade agreement fell through:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt would\u2019ve been dope, man.
