Team USA has traveled halfway across the world but is still in a holding pattern with superstar Kevin Durant<\/a>, who didn\u2019t practice again today with a calf problem and most certainly won\u2019t be on the court when his teammates play against Australia in a friendly at the beginning of the next week.<\/p>\n

Manager Steve Kerr has been publicly downplaying any concern about the problem but admitted that Kevin would need more time than first expected to be at 100%.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s in my knowledge that I still have several weeks before we have to announce the final roster for the Olympics,” Kerr claimed. “That\u2019s why we’re just taking it daily.”<\/p>\n

Team USA planned that if Kawhi Leonard couldn’t be on the court in Paris, Derrick White would replace him. But if Steve Kerr has someone on his mind to replace Durant if he isn\u2019t healthy enough to play at the Olympics, it is unclear because the head coach doesn\u2019t want to reveal, as he believes Kevin will play.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
