{"id":485611,"date":"2024-07-25T07:04:02","date_gmt":"2024-07-25T11:04:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=485611"},"modified":"2024-07-25T07:04:02","modified_gmt":"2024-07-25T11:04:02","slug":"esteban-ocon-will-join-haas-from-alpine-for-next-f1-campaign","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/news\/esteban-ocon-will-join-haas-from-alpine-for-next-f1-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"Esteban Ocon will join Haas from Alpine for next F1 campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Esteban Ocon joins Haas next year on a multi-year contract, the American team announced today.<\/p>\n<p>The French pilot will be teammate with rookie Oliver Bearman in an all-new driver line-up at the American team for the next season.<\/p>\n<p>It became known after the Monaco GP earlier this season that Esteban was set to leave his current team at the end of the campaign, and the rumors about his future in Formula 1 started.<\/p>\n<p>In the past several weeks, Haas has become the favorite, with the contract being revealed ahead of this weekend\u2019s Belgian GP.<\/p>\n<p>Esteban, who triumphed at the 2021 Hungarian GP, will be the 1<sup>st<\/sup> Formula 1 race-winner to join the American team and worked with Haas principal Ayao Komatsu during his 1<sup>st<\/sup> Formula One test at the Lotus 10 years ago.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I\u2019m very happy and positive about the future of my Formula One career and to join MoneyGram Haas Formula 1 Team from the beginning of the 2025 campaign,&#8221; Ocon shared.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Very proud to announce I will be joining <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HaasF1Team?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@HaasF1Team<\/a> in 2025 on a multi-year deal. <\/p>\n<p>I am thrilled to embark on this new chapter in my F1 career and join an ambitious racing team whose spirit, work ethic, and undeniable upward trajectory has really impressed me.
