Konecny will be Philadelphia\u2019s highest-paid player when the extension starts, jumping ahead of Sean Couturier, who is inked at a cap hit of almost 8 million dollars.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Travis Konecny is a crucial part of the fabric of our organization, and we are thrilled to have him under deal for the long-term,&#8221; Philadelphia GM Daniel Bri\u00e8re shared.<\/p>\n<p>Travis (27) had 33 goals and 68 points in 76 matches with the team in the past campaign, leading the Flyers in multiple offensive categories.
