However, Bayern Munich demanded \u20ac50 million, which caused the deal to fall through. As a result, Real Madrid opted to wait and agree with Davies for a free transfer upon the expiration of his contract next summer.<\/p>\n<p>Real Madrid acted similarly with PSG and Kylian Mbappe, when the Spanish club offered \u20ac100 million for the forward in the summer of 2023, but the French side refused and now France&#8217;s captain signed for his favorite team as a child for free.<\/p>\n<p>Alphonso Davies has been a key player for Bayern Munich since joining the club in 2019.
