Teaming up with his compatriot Alcaraz, they put on a commanding display, delighting a packed and vociferous crowd on a sweltering Court Suzanne Lenglen arena.<\/p>\n<p>Nicknamed &#8216;Nadalcraz,&#8217; the Spanish pair combined their formidable firepower to keep their gold medal dreams alive. Alcaraz, 21, smashed a forehand winner to secure a crucial break of serve in the first set, with Nadal roaring in approval.<\/p>\n<p>Koolhof, a former doubles world number one, and Griekspoor provided stiff resistance in the second set, dominating a second-set tiebreak and winning it 7-2.
