Klay Thompson’s return to the Bay Area will come on the 1st<\/sup> night of the 2024-25 Emirates NBA Cup schedule.<\/p>\n

The guard and his new franchise, the Dallas Mavericks<\/a><\/a>, will play against the Golden State Warriors<\/a><\/a> in San Francisco on November 12th<\/sup>, part of the full NBA Cup schedule unveiled today.<\/p>\n

The rest of the league’s regular campaign schedule will be announced in 2 days.<\/p>\n

Klay Thompson, who formed the greatest shooting backcourt in National Basketball Association history alongside Steph Curry, inked a 3-year, 50 million dollar contract with Mavs in the current offseason and will now return to the place he called home for the 1st<\/sup> 13 campaigns during his time in the NBA.<\/p>\n

That won’t be the only interesting match on the opening night of the schedule for the 2nd<\/sup> edition of the NBA\u2019s in-campaign tournament, however, as the opening half of the national doubleheader on TNT will show the Knicks to play against the 76ers in Philly.<\/p>\n
