{"id":486734,"date":"2024-09-27T12:52:47","date_gmt":"2024-09-27T16:52:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=486734"},"modified":"2024-09-27T12:52:47","modified_gmt":"2024-09-27T16:52:47","slug":"browns-rule-out-tight-end-njoku-against-las-vegas","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/news\/browns-rule-out-tight-end-njoku-against-las-vegas\/","title":{"rendered":"Browns rule out tight end Njoku against Las Vegas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cleveland Browns manager Kevin Stefanski ruled out TE David Njoku for the weekend\u2019s match vs. the Las Vegas Raiders.<\/p>\n<p>The tight end returned to training yesterday for the 1<sup>st<\/sup> time since sustaining an ankle problem in the campaign opener, but the Browns head coach revealed Njoku will not practice today and will miss his 3<sup>rd<\/sup> consecutive match.<\/p>\n<p>Kevin also shared that starting offensive tackles Jedrick Wills Jr. and Jack Conklin will also be sidelined for the upcoming game. Wills injured a knee vs. the Giants, his 1<sup>st<\/sup> match back from his campaign-ending knee problem last year. Conklin has not appeared in a match this campaign as he returns from a severe knee problem he sustained in the opening week of 2023. Jack sustained a hamstring problem in the past week that the head coach claimed was a &#8220;minor setback&#8221; but would not keep him out for several weeks.<\/p>\n<p>RB Pierre Strong Jr., who sustained a hamstring problem in Week 2, will also miss the match against Las Vegas on Sunday.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">David Njoku practiced on a limited basis with the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Browns?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#Browns<\/a> today.
