The clash occurred towards the end of the game, sparked when Forest&#8217;s Neco Williams appeared to push Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella off the pitch.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Chelsea and Nottingham Forest have been charged by the FA with failing to control their players but there will be NO retrospective action for Nicolas Jackson. (via <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Matt_Law_DT?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@Matt_Law_DT<\/a>) <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/tV1GaKnXPS\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/tV1GaKnXPS<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 ChelsTransfer (@ChelsTransfer) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ChelsTransfer\/status\/1843653757726535703?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">October 8, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Although Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson seemed to slap Forest\u2019s Morato during the altercation, no further action will be taken against him, as the incident was reviewed by the video assistant referee (VAR) at the time.<\/p>\n<p>The FA\u2019s statement reads: &#8220;It&#8217;s alleged that both clubs failed to ensure their players didn\u2019t behave in an improper and\/or provocative way around the 88th minute.&#8221; Both clubs have until Thursday to respond to the charges.<\/p>\n<p>Three players were booked following the clash, including Williams for Forest and Chelsea\u2019s Cucurella and Levi Colwill.
