Rows of cots had been set up on the stadium&#8217;s artificial turf for emergency personnel.<\/p>\n<p>Originally opened in 1990 as the Florida Suncoast Dome, the venue has a long history, including its time as the Tampa Bay Lightning&#8217;s home arena, when it was called the Thunder Dome. Tropicana, a local beverage company, secured naming rights in 1996 under a 30-year deal.
