The 23-year-old Italian world number one continued his phenomenal form in 2024, defeating Djokovic 7-6 (7-4), 6-3.<\/p>\n<p>Djokovic, 37, was aiming to become only the third man in history, after Jimmy Connors (109) and Roger Federer (103), to reach 100 career titles. Reflecting on the missed milestone, Djokovic, a 24-time Grand Slam champion, said, &#8220;I have got to keep striving to make it happen somewhere in the near future.
