With Pep Guardiola as head coach, Man City have never lost 4 consecutive games and it was clear that the players will be motivated to avoid another defeat.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s exactly what happened and the only goal in the 1<sup>st<\/sup> half scored Erling Haaland in the 23<sup>rd<\/sup> minute after Manchester City started the match very well. After that, however, the Seagulls started to play better and Dany Welbeck had a fantastic opportunity to tie the result but he missed and the half ended with 1-goal lead for the visitors.<\/p>\n<p>In the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> half, however, there was only 1 team on the pitch. Brighton dominated but missed chance after chance until the 78<sup>th<\/sup> minute when Joao Pedro scored to tie the result.
