{"id":489473,"date":"2025-02-05T07:34:00","date_gmt":"2025-02-05T11:34:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=489473"},"modified":"2025-02-05T07:34:00","modified_gmt":"2025-02-05T11:34:00","slug":"lebron-admits-he-didnt-believe-about-the-doncic-davis-trade","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/news\/lebron-admits-he-didnt-believe-about-the-doncic-davis-trade\/","title":{"rendered":"LeBron admits he didn\u2019t believe about the Doncic-Davis trade"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When <a href=\"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/nba\/player\/lebron-james\/\">LeBron James<\/a> subbed out of 1<sup>st<\/sup> quarter of the eventual 122-97 victory against the Clippers and sat on the bench, he had a new teammate sitting next to him in the spot Anthony Davis occupied for seasons.<\/p>\n<p>The new superstar in LA, <a href=\"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/nba\/player\/luka-doncic\/\"><a href=\"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/nba\/player\/luka-doncic\/\">Luka Doncic<\/a><\/a>, landed in the city last weekend, and now he is with his new teammates despite not being on the court yet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI still need time until I completely realize that everything is real, but after I sat next to Doncic today and saw Anthony Davis&#8217;s video of shooting with his new teammates in the Mavs,\u201d LeBron shared after the victory. \u201cThat is the moment when I started to feel that everything is real.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The fact that LeBron talked for the 1<sup>st<\/sup> trade about the trade in the Lakers locker room at Intuit Dome meant that the superstar is ok with everything that went on in the past few days.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf I had a problem with it, I would have waived my no-trade clause and left Lakers,\u201d LeBron claimed. \u201cBut I\u2019m here and will do everything possible for us to succeed.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">LeBron James, when asked about the Lakers making the Luka Doncic trade with an eye on the future, replied, \u201cWhat\u2019s wrong with that?
