Last year\u2019s race saw minimal on-track action, with a first-lap red flag allowing most drivers to change tires early, eliminating the need for pit stops and effectively locking the race order.<\/p>\n<p>To enhance the spectacle, mandatory extra pit stops could be introduced as early as this season. The Formula 1 Commission has already agreed to the changes, with further discussions set to take place in the Sporting Advisory Committee. Meanwhile, all other races will continue with the standard one-stop mandatory rule.
