He added his second on the power play 10 minutes later and sealed the hat trick with an empty-net goal in the final minutes. Pickard became the 181st goaltender Ovechkin has scored against, extending his own NHL record. His 134th game-winning goal also tied Jaromir Jagr for the most in league history.<\/p>\n<p>Tom Wilson, Jakob Chychrun, Connor McMichael, and Dylan Strome also found the net for the Capitals, while Charlie Lindgren made 22 saves. Washington has now won back-to-back games since the 4 Nations Face-Off break, outscoring the Oilers and Penguins 15-6.<\/p>\n<p>Edmonton suffered its third consecutive loss despite Leon Draisaitl scoring his league-leading 42nd goal of the season. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Jeff Skinner added late goals, but the game was already out of reach.
