A late charge helped the Australian recover to ninth place, overtaking Lewis Hamilton on the final lap.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"649\" data-end=\"876\">Verstappen, who started third, capitalized on Piastri\u2019s misfortune and late pit stops under the final safety car but ultimately fell just 0.895 seconds short of victory.
