Game 1 is set for Wednesday night in Dallas.<\/p>\n<p>Jets forward Mark Scheifele scored the team\u2019s lone goal just hours after the unexpected death of his father, but a tripping penalty in the final seconds of regulation proved costly. With 14.8 seconds left, Scheifele tripped Sam Steel during a breakaway \u2014 a desperate lunge that narrowly avoided resulting in a penalty shot.<\/p>\n<p>Though the Stars failed to convert before the buzzer, the call set them up with a man advantage to open overtime.
