The former UFC champion, who retired in 2017 after suffering back-to-back knockout defeats to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes, was just 29 years old when she stepped away from the octagon. At the time, many believed her retirement was temporary, but Rousey later revealed that a medical issue had forced her to call it quits earlier than she expected.<\/p>\n
