Alcaraz, Coco Gauff and Iga Swiatek all voiced frustration at the heavy schedule, calling for fewer tournaments and more recovery time.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Novak Djokovic on Alcaraz and Swiatek complaining about the long tennis calendar:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But then there are exhibitions as well that players are signing up for, so it&#8217;s a little bit contradictory. In the end, I can say that the players are not united enough. Players are not\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/bAdrM3MQQb\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/bAdrM3MQQb<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Danny (@DjokovicFan_) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DjokovicFan_\/status\/1973749197645251008?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">October 2, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Speaking in Shanghai, where he finished runner-up to Jannik Sinner last year, the 24-time Grand Slam champion said concerns about player welfare have been raised for over a decade without significant change.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMore than 15 years ago I was talking about us needing to come together and reorganize the schedule,\u201d said the 38-year-old. \u201cIt\u2019s an individual sport\u2026 at the end of the day you can still make choices.
