{"id":504275,"date":"2025-10-23T02:05:57","date_gmt":"2025-10-23T06:05:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=504275"},"modified":"2025-10-23T02:05:57","modified_gmt":"2025-10-23T06:05:57","slug":"rodgers-claims-facing-packers-is-not-a-revenge-match","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/news\/rodgers-claims-facing-packers-is-not-a-revenge-match\/","title":{"rendered":"Rodgers claims facing Packers is not a revenge match"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers doesn\u2019t think that the game at the end of the weekend vs. the Green Bay Packers, the franchise that selected him with 24th overall 20 years ago, and where he played in the 1st 18 years in the NFL, is a revenge match, the quarterback shared today.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t have animosity toward the Packers,\u201d the Steelers QB revealed. \u201cWithout a doubt, I wish that things had been different in my last campaign with them, but despite that, I have a phenomenal relationship with a lot of people still in the franchise, and I don\u2019t see it as a revenge clash. I will just be happy to be able to see some of those people and appear on SNF again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Aaron replaced Brett Favre as Green Bay\u2019s full-time starter in 2008 and spent 15 years in that role before demanding a trade that sent him to the Jets in 2023.
