{"id":504971,"date":"2025-11-03T18:29:27","date_gmt":"2025-11-03T22:29:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=504971"},"modified":"2025-11-03T18:29:27","modified_gmt":"2025-11-03T22:29:27","slug":"commanders-quinn-takes-responsibility-for-daniels-injury","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/news\/commanders-quinn-takes-responsibility-for-daniels-injury\/","title":{"rendered":"Commanders\u2018 Quinn takes responsibility for Daniels\u2019 injury"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Washington Commanders boss Dan Quinn admitted today that he should have removed QB Jayden Daniels before he sustained a dislocated left elbow, a distinct change from what the manager shared moments after the defeat vs. the Seahawks yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s my fault,\u201d Quinn told the media. \u201cI take responsibility for playing him for too long.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dan added that the organization is still waiting for further testing on the quarterback\u2019s elbow to determine how long Daniels will be out, but claimed that the QB1 of the team will be sidelined for a while.<\/p>\n<p>An X-ray after the match with Seattle revealed a fracture.<\/p>\n<p>Jayden suffered a problem with his non-throwing elbow in the middle of the 4<sup>th<\/sup> quarter in the 38-14 defeat to the Seahawks. Daniels was sacked on a scramble at Seattle\u2019s 4-yard line with Washington being behind 38-7 during that time.<\/p>\n<p>Commanders also suffered 2 more injuries in this game as CB \u00a0Marshon Lattimore tore his ACL, and receiver\/kick returner Luke McCaffrey sustained a collarbone injury.
