The expected recovery time is 2 months, but the forward will be reevaluated in a month and a half.<\/p>\n<p>Jack sustained his problem in an unfortunate incident that involved getting cut by glass at a team dinner 2 days ago.<\/p>\n<p>Hughes was off to a phenomenal campaign for the Devils, which is 12-4-1 and atop the Metropolitan Division before the matches this weekend. Jack, who is 24 years old, has 10 goals and 20 points in his 1<sup>st<\/sup> 17 matches.<\/p>\n<p>The problem will create an interesting predicament for Team USA ahead of the 2026 Olympics in Milan, as the rosters must be submitted by the end of the calendar year.
