The two sides agreed on this, and now heads to waivers. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/rhu3tbnyVw\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/rhu3tbnyVw<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RapSheet\/status\/1991187398080819668?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">November 19, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Brandin, who is 32 years old, inked a 2-season contract worth up to a 13 million dollars to return to New Orleans during the spring but was not a crucial factor on offense, finishing 5<sup>th<\/sup> in the organization in receptions in the 1<sup>st<\/sup> half of the campaign.<\/p>\n<p>He had incentives in his deal for receptions, receiving TDs, time on the field, and receiving yards, but did not hit any of them. Cooks ended with 19 catches for 165 yards and no TDs.<\/p>\n<p>New Orleans drafted him in the 1st round of the NFL Draft 11 years ago, but traded him to the Patriots in 2017.
