And with that decision, his streak came to an end.<\/p>\n<p>LeBron\u2019s run of 1,297 straight double-digit regular-campaign scoring efforts finished tonight, when the league\u2019s career points leader was held to 8 points in the LA Lakers\u2019 123-120 victory against the Raptors. James had the match-winning assist, as Rui Hachimura scored a 3-pointer as time expired.<\/p>\n<p>After the game, reporters asked him what he thought about the end of his streak.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t care,\u201d shared LeBron. \u201cWe secured the victory.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He could have tried to win the match and continue his streak on the final play in the game, but he instead passed to Rui in the left corner. The Japanese player scored, and James was very happy about the win.<\/p>\n<p>The Lakers and NBA superstar streak began back on January 6<sup>th<\/sup>, 2007. It was, by far, the longest such run in league history.
