The Red Devils manager, Ruben Amorim, has condemned the “feeling of entitlement” at the team and claimed footballers must use criticism and difficult moments as fuel to prove him wrong.<\/p>\n
In the last few days, Ruben was confronted with a ‘Free Kobbie Mainoo’ T-shirt, being worn by the midfielder’s half-brother, in response to the England youngster being benched.<\/p>\n
Pundits even shared that Kobbie would be better off if he leaves Manchester United. But according to the Portuguese manager of the Red Devils, this is the wrong approach. Ruben shares Roy Keane\u2019s opinion, who believes that Mainoo must force his way into the starting line-up.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is a feeling of entitlement we have in Manchester United,\u201d Amorim shared with the media today.<\/p>\n
\u201cSometimes, hardships are not bad for young players. That must make them stronger. It\u2019s not the right approach to go against the club because you feel entitled. Then, we have pundits who share that if you are not starting, you need to leave the team.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t share that approach. I believe that you must stay and fight for your place in the team. I\u2019m open to talking with anyone, but nobody comes to my office to solve the things.\u201d<\/p>\n
