Mike had his in-person interview between the two.<\/p>\n<p>Mike, who didn\u2019t lead an organization in the past year, spent 5 campaigns with Dallas before he and the Cowboys failed to reach a deal extension after the 2024 campaign, leading to Dallas appointing Brian Schottenheimer.<\/p>\n<p>The former Dallas manager, who won the Super Bowl with the Packers in 2010, brings that title experience to Pittsburgh, which last triumphed with the title in 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Rumors are that McCarthy&#8217;s appointment can be a decisive factor for the veteran QB Aaron Rodgers to return to the team.
