A few minutes into his 1st<\/sup> press conference in the Mike McCarthy era of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the organization\u2019s new boss had to speak about the biggest question ahead of the new season.<\/p>\n

From a personal perspective, the media asked if the new head coach wants Aaron Rodgers to return to the team.<\/p>\n

\u201cI appreciate the way you asked that question,\u201d McCarthy answered. \u201cWithout a doubt. I don\u2019t see why I would not. I have spoken to Rodgers, and that\u2019s all I can share at the moment. I already watched the matches of the Steelers in the past campaign, and I believe Aaron is a great asset for the franchise.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mike shared that the quarterback, like other veteran footballers, will need time to decide their future. McCarthy and Rodgers spent 13 seasons together with the Packers and triumphed with 1 Super Bowl title.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe that is incredibly important,\u201d the new Steelers managers claimed of footballers like Aaron taking a break. \u201cThe NFL is so emotional, and what they go through while playing. That\u2019s why it\u2019s so important the time away from the game.\u201d<\/p>\n
