Raheem Sterling has left the West London club by mutual consent after reaching an agreement to end his deal earlier.<\/p>\n
The forward had a year and a half remaining on his 325,000-pound-a-week contract.<\/p>\n
Raheem spent 3 and a half campaigns with Chelsea after his transfer from Man City for almost 50 million pounds in 2022.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are thankful for everything that Sterling while being our footballer and wish him all the best in his next challenge in his career,\u201d the Blues shared.<\/p>\n
Sterling has played 81 games for the club from Stamford Bridge, but his last appearance for the team was back in May 2024.<\/p>\n
The forward had been training separately with the so\u2011called “bomb squad” at Chelsea\u2019s Cobham base after refusing to be sold in the past summer.<\/p>\n
Raheem, who began his career at Liverpool and has secured 13 trophies in total in his career, wants to remain in London but is also keen to leave England if the right offer comes.<\/p>\n
Sterling was on loan with the Gunners in the past campaign, but did not impress as part of Mikel Arteta\u2019s side.<\/p>\n
