{"id":508226,"date":"2026-02-09T19:26:23","date_gmt":"2026-02-09T23:26:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=508226"},"modified":"2026-02-09T19:26:23","modified_gmt":"2026-02-09T23:26:23","slug":"jayson-tatum-will-start-to-train-with-the-g-league-team","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/news\/jayson-tatum-will-start-to-train-with-the-g-league-team\/","title":{"rendered":"Jayson Tatum will start to train with the G League team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jayson Tatum&#8217;s recovery from a torn ACL sustained in May took a big step today with the Boston Celtics assigning him to train with their G League squad.<\/p>\n<p>The franchise revealed Jayson would participate in portions of the training at the Auerbach Center in Boston, along with teammates Hugo Gonzalez and Amari Williams.<\/p>\n<p>After the practice, Tatum will be recalled by Boston and continue to recover.<\/p>\n<p>The organization didn\u2019t provide any additional details on when Jayson will be able to return and play in the NBA.<\/p>\n<p>Boston\u2019s superstar tore his Achilles tendon in the East \u00bd finals vs. the NY Knicks 9 months ago. His team thrived despite his absence, as they are currently in the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> place in the Eastern Conference, behind All-Star Jaylen Brown.<\/p>\n<p>Jayson spoke about his return a few days ago and also talked about whether he might upset the team\u2019s chemistry if he plays again this season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s something that\u2019s on my mind daily,\u201d Tatum shared. \u201cBoston would have played 50 matches without me.
