The general manager shared that Tua is in the team\u2019s building today in Flowery Branch, Georgia, taking his physical.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor Tagovailoa coming to the Falcons, he understands he is coming to fight for his place,\u201d Cunningham shared with the media. \u201cIt\u2019s the same for Penix Jr. and, to be honest, for everybody here, not just those 2 at the QB position \u2013 but everybody must fight to be on the team.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Michael is still recovering from the left ACL procedure in the past autumn after sustaining the problem in Week 11. Penix Jr. has revealed recently that he will be ready for the beginning of the new campaign, but that\u2019s still not clear. Typically, such an injury could take up to a year to heal.<\/p>\n<p>The previous Atlanta regime was that Michael would be QB1 as soon as he returns from his injury.
