This is the 1<sup>st<\/sup> part of my farewell,\u201d the Egyptian forward wrote.<\/p>\n<p>He inked a new 2-year deal with the team from Anfield in April 2025, but will leave the club as a free agent after the 2 sides reached an agreement.<\/p>\n<p>Salah has only scored 10 goals in 34 matches in all tournaments so far and is on course to finish with his lowest tally for a campaign since he became a Liverpool player.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of last year, Mohamed shared with the media that Liverpool had thrown him under the bus and that his relationship with manager Arne Slot had broken down.<\/p>\n<p>There were rumors that the Egyptian could leave during the winter transfer window, but he returned to the Reds after the end of the Africa Cup of Nations.<\/p>\n<p>Salah had won 2 EPL titles, the UCL, Fifa Club World Cup, Uefa Super Cup, FA Cup, and 2 times Carabao Cup, as well as the Community Shield.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Mohamed Salah is to bring the curtain down on his illustrious career with Liverpool Football Club at the end of the 2025-26 season.<\/p>\n<p>The time to fully celebrate his legacy and achievements will follow later in the year when he bids farewell to Anfield \u2764\ufe0f<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Liverpool FC (@LFC) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LFC\/status\/2036513628288065599?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">March 24, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Liverpool star Mo Salah has revealed he will leave the team at the end of the campaign.
