{"id":512264,"date":"2026-05-18T00:08:26","date_gmt":"2026-05-18T04:08:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=512264"},"modified":"2026-05-18T00:08:26","modified_gmt":"2026-05-18T04:08:26","slug":"keane-still-doubts-carrick-for-permanent-man-united-manager","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/7sport.net\/en\/news\/keane-still-doubts-carrick-for-permanent-man-united-manager\/","title":{"rendered":"Keane still doubts Carrick for permanent Man United manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Roy Keane still doesn\u2019t believe that Michael Carrick is the right choice to lead the Red Devils back to their past glory, despite his impressive results during his interim spell.<\/p>\n<p>Keane shared his doubts after it became clear that Manchester United will finish 3rd in the EPL and the directors most likely will promote Carrick as the next permanent head coach of the club.<\/p>\n<p>After the Red Devils\u2019 3-2 triumph against Nottingham, Roy shared what are the next challenges in front of Carrick after he guided the team from Old Trafford to the UCL qualification.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe Carrick did his job as his task most likely was to secure Champions League football for Man United, and he did that. Michael is winning football games, but I still see huge problems at the club.
