Gvardiol is the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> defender to agree a new contract with Manchester City after Abdukodir Khusanov did the same.<\/p>\n<p>The Croatian player signed with the Sky Blues 3 years ago, when Man City paid 77 million pounds for him to RB Leipzig, and Gvardiol didn\u2019t disappoint as he won the team\u2019s Player of the Year award for the 2024-25 campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Since his transfer to the Premier League, Josko has played 122 matches and scored 13 goals despite playing as a defender.
