Max Verstappen has ended rumors over his F1 future by inking a deal extension with Red Bull through 2030.<\/p>\n
The 4-time World Champ had been previously under a deal through 2028, but the performance-based exit clauses in that contract had allowed speculation about his future.<\/p>\n
Max was linked with numerous other teams in the last year and a half and even spoke about the possibility of retiring from Formula 1 at the beginning of 2026 because he didn\u2019t like the current generation of race cars.<\/p>\n
Red Bull shared today that they are really happy that the Dutch pilot has pledged to stay with them for the upcoming years.<\/p>\n
Max\u2019s new contract will be a huge relief for his team and F1 itself after months of uncertainty about what the star pilot would do next. He has been the most vocal critic of Formula 1\u2019s new electrified hybrid engines, labeling them “anti-racing” and likening them to Mario Kart.<\/p>\n
