Mauricio Pochettino has left his position as Chelsea boss by mutual agreement after less than a year at the helm despite qualifying for the Europa Conference League next campaign.
The Argentinian manager exit means the Blues owners, Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital, will search to hire their 4th head coach since buying the team in the summer of 2022.

Mauricio, who joined the West London team on a 2-year contract in the past summer, has left, finishing 7th in the EPL and qualifying for the UCF, UEFA’s 3rd-tier tournament.
Chelsea spent almost 500 million dollars on 10 footballers in the past summer but didn’t find consistency until the latest matches of the campaign.
Pochettino lost only 1 of the team’s final 15 Premier League games and triumphed in the last 5. The Blues also played at the Carabao Cup final but lost to Liverpool youngsters after extra time.
Mauricio is the 3rd head coach to be dismissed, after Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter since the new ownership.
