Zlatan Ibrahimovic put an end of his legendary career at the end of last season. The Swede, 41, left AC Milan after his multiple injuries in the past couple of years, but his departure from the Rossoneri may not be for long.
According to multiple reports from Italy, Milan owner Gerry Cardinale met with Ibrahimovic while in Milano, trying to convince him to take on a director role at the club. Zlatan came to visit the squad ahead of their first Champions League game against Newcastle and it looks like he was there for more than just a friendly visit.

Cardinale wants for a long time to hire a club legend who will be the ‘connection’ between the players, coaching staff and the sporting directors. The American businessman sees Ibrahimovic as the perfect option as the Swede used to be the protagonist in the dressing room and all players look up to him.
