Bam, who will be 27 next month, can ink the contract on July 6th by the NBA rule.
The Heat captain and starting center has 2 years and about 72 million dollars remaining on his current contract with Miami, the only organization that he has competed for since the Heat picked him in 2017.
Bam has made the NBA All-Defensive Team in each of the last 5 campaigns, getting picked for the 1st team for the 1st time in the last campaign.
Bam is 3 years into his current contract, a 5-year, 163 million dollar deal.
