The defensive back shared on social media that “something much worse could have happened.”
The Floridian court sentenced the Bama’s player to 3 years of probation with a monetary penalty and community service after Tony said he was guilty of having more than twenty grams of cannabis.
“I was not sure if I would play football again, but I continued to prepare like I was on the field and received a lot of support from those who love me,” the DB shared. “During that period, it helped me to think about something else. But when I was alone looking at social media, what everybody shared about the accident, it felt like it happened again.
“I lost my sleep.”
