The France international remains provisionally suspended from playing football after he failed a drug test a few days ago with elevated levels of testosterone in his body.
If the French midfielder is found guilty, he can be off the pitch from 2 to 4 years.
“I am sorry for him,” Max claimed.
“An investigation is underway, there are people involved, and the best thing is to wait until the end of the procedure before we talk more about this topic. Pogba has been suspended, [so] let’s see what the court will decide, and then I will be able to share what changes for our team.
“He will not be part of the squad vs. Lazio and Sassuolo, and then we’ll see. At the moment, we must focus on the players that can play”.
