Antony left out by Brazil for World Cup qualifiers

Brazil manager Fernando Diniz left the Red Devils attacker Antony out of his selection for the nation’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers next month as the winger faces allegations of violence towards women.

The Man. United footballer had been called up for Brazil’s 1^st 2 qualifiers in September but was dropped from the roster after allegations of domestic abuse made by former girlfriend became public.

The Premier League side has since given the Brazilian a leave of absence to defend himself, with 2 more women subsequently coming forward with accusations against the player.
