Glen did the slur on NBC Sports California when he talked about a trip to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City, Missouri.
Before the beginning of the 6th inning, Kuiper shared that he was sorry.
“Welcome back to the game. I want to…a little earlier in the broadcast, I said something that didn’t come out quite the way I wanted it to,” the announcer said. “And I just wanted to say that I’m sorry if I offended someone. And like I shared, I just want to apologize for this accident”.
The franchise told the media that the broadcaster’s language is “unacceptable.”
