Hansi (59) replaces Xavi Hernández, who managed his final match at the past weekend, a 2-1 league win. vs Sevilla, after being dismissed the previous week.
“It’s a huge privilege and a dream to ink the deal with this historical team,” Flick revealed. “The hours I have been here with the club have been great. Everyone here supports this team and gives their all for Barcelona to be successful.
“The style of play here is similar to mine: ball possession and really attacking football, which are things that I admire. The Catalan team also has 1 of the best academies in the world and a great mix of experienced and young players. It is my job to make the best of them and make them better.”
Flick added that he triumphed with many titles during his time with Bayern and hopes to do the same thing here.
